Author Brian Carriveau will be taking part in two book signings in support of It’s Just a Game: Big League Drama in Small Town America on the weekend of June 8 through 10.
The first will take place on Friday evening June 8 at Warner Park in Madison as the Madison Mallards host the Green Bay Bullfrogs in a Northwoods League baseball game.
Mallards owner Steve Schmitt is featured in It’s Just a Game as a former Home Talent League player.
The game starts at 7:05 p.m. Central time with gates opening 90 minutes before the game.
Then on Sunday, Carriveau will appear at the annual Deerfield Firemen’s Festival on Sunday June 10 as Deerfield hosts Southeast section rival Cambridge at 2:00 p.m.
