Gantner, Carriveau Book Signing at HTL All-Star Game
Former Milwaukee Brewers second baseman Jim Gantner and author Brian Carriveau will team up for a book signing at the Home Talent League All-Star Game on Friday Aug. 3 at Warner Park in Madison. Gantner and Carriveau will be signing copies of It’s Just a Game: Big League Drama in Small Town America about Wisconsin’s Home Talent League released earlier this year. Release Party in Fort Atkinson May 3, Crivitz May 11
The official release date for It’s Just a Game is May 1, and we’ll be celebrating with a pair of parties. The first will be held on Thursday May 3 at Fat Boyz in Fort Atkinson from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The next will be held on Friday May 11 at Riverside in Crivitz, again from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Author Brian Carriveau will be on hand signing copies of It’s Just Game. Monona First Stop on It’s Just a Game Tour
Author Brian Carriveau will be signing copies of It’s Just a Game at Monona’s Ahuska Park on Sunday Apr. 29 on Opening Day of the Home Talent League’s Eastern section. The game will feature Monona hosting Marshall beginning at 1 p.m. Copies of It’s Just a Game will be available for purchase. Monona will be the first stop on the It’s Just a Game tour, which will be stopping at ballparks of the Home Talent League throughout the 2012 season. Tweet

Appearance, Pre-Sales to Take Place at Fort Atkinson Banquet
Brian Carriveau will be speaking at the Fort Atkinson Generals’ annual baseball banquet on Saturday January 21 to talk about It’s Just a Game and take pre-sales for the book that’s coming out this spring. Cocktails start at 5 p.m. with dinner, awards and book talk to follow.
