Richland Center’s home opener of the 2012 season served as a sendoff for native son Bradie Ewing who was recently drafted by the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons. Ewing was honored before the game by throwing the honorary first pitch. Pictured with Ewing is author Brian Carriveau and wife, Amanda. On Friday May 11 author Brian Carriveau will visit his hometown of Crivitz, Wis. for multiple events related to the release of his new book It’s Just a Game: Big League Drama in Small Town America.
